Pre-course preparation: 1 hour of pre-course reading. All first aid handbooks are included and will be provided prior to the course.
The course incorporates a range of activities, including written tasks, reading exercises, and physical activities. These components are designed to facilitate comprehensive learning and engagement throughout the course.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
Attendance at the course is required along with completion of all written and practical assessments.
If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms like a cold, flu, stomach upset, or COVID-19, please refrain from attending the course.
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Trousers and flat shoes are recommended for better stability and movement. For safety reasons, open-toe sandals and similar shoes are not permitted. As the room will be well ventilated, please also bring warm clothing to remain comfortable throughout the day.

This qualification is valid for a period of 3 years. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.
Although this qualification is valid for three years, the UK Health and Safety Executive and Resuscitation Council UK recommends annual CPR knowledge/skills refresher training.
