    Course Information

    Course Duration: 1/2 day

Pre-course preparation: 1 hour of pre-course reading is required for the CPR training course. All first aid handbooks are included and will be provided prior to the course, which also covers AED certification and essential first aid training.

    Overview:

The CPR training course incorporates a range of activities, including written tasks, reading exercises, and physical activities. These components are designed to facilitate comprehensive learning and engagement throughout the course, which also covers essential skills like AED certification and first aid training. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.

    Attendance:

Attendance at the CPR training course is required along with the completion of all written and practical assessments, including AED certification and first aid training. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms like a cold, flu, stomach upset, or COVID-19, please refrain from attending the course.

    Clothing and Footwear:

Due to the practical nature of this CPR training course, learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Trousers and flat shoes are recommended for better stability and movement, especially during hands-on activities like first aid training and AED certification practices. For safety reasons, open-toe sandals and similar shoes are not permitted. Additionally, as the room will be well ventilated, please bring warm clothing to remain comfortable throughout the day.

For the course you will need:

Please bring a photographic ID on the first day of the AED certification course for registration purposes. Additionally, bring a black pen and a note pad for taking notes during the CPR training course. Don't forget to pack your own refreshments for the day (please ensure that drinks vessels have a screw top lid), especially as you'll want to stay hydrated during the first aid training.

    Method of Assessment:

3 x Practical assessments for AED certification and first aid training, along with 1 x Theory assessment (multiple-choice question paper) related to the CPR training course.

    Support for Additional Needs:

We understand that some participants may have specific learning or physical needs, especially in courses like our AED certification, CPR training course, or first aid training. Please contact us before the course begins so we can discuss your requirements confidentially and provide the necessary support throughout your learning experience.

    Requalification Requirements:

This AED certification is valid for a period of 1 year. The learner needs to retake the qualification through a CPR training course or first aid training before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.
